What we believe
We start with logic and your numbers, not with ideas we happen to like.

Ads, websites and social media work best in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and English. Each should report the enquiries it brings. Our servicing team in Guwahati works with you in person. The wider PromotEdge team helps with planning.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A campaign in one language reaches only part of the North East. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites and social media for Assam businesses, with newspapers, radio and events where they fit.
We use the languages your buyers use, and we report on enquiries and sales.
Here is what we usually see: a plan made in Guwahati has to reach Shillong, Itanagar or Dibrugarh too. Northeast Frontier Railway is headquartered at Maligaon. The Software Technology Parks of India centre supports IT firms across the North East. The tea trade meets at the auction centre near Dispur.
That makes language the first question. Take a tea brand in Upper Assam, a diagnostic centre drawing patients from Meghalaya and a business-to-business startup. Each needs a different mix of Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and English. We decide by audience, then by channel.
One team plans strategy, advertising, digital marketing and BTL (below the line: events, stalls and shop branding). Your Assamese newspaper ad, Google listing and Maniram Dewan Trade Centre stall then work as one campaign.
Deeper reading if you want the research behind the plan.
A tea brand selling packs direct needs a store and a story; see tea and agribusiness. A business-to-business firm leans on search and the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre shows. A school or training centre needs the same local trust as any education brand does. Use Assamese where parents read it.
IBEF says Assam has the world's largest tea-growing area. It lists tea, coal, oil and gas, limestone and cement, agriculture, food processing, tourism and horticulture as key industries. It places Assam third in India for petroleum and natural gas. Assam's 2025 tourism policy aims to raise tourism from about 5.5% of the economy to 10%.
The Guwahati Tea Auction Centre was set up on 25 September 1970 next to the State Secretariat at Dispur. The Assam government calls it one of the busiest tea trading facilities in the world.
STPI Guwahati was set up in 2000; units under it exported software worth ₹120.77 crore in FY 2022-23. Assam's startup portal lists 628 startups in its network.

Each name below is from its own website. NEDFi (the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation) lends to businesses in the North East. It has its headquarters at Dispur and was registered on 9 August 1995. GNRC Hospitals says it was the first tertiary care multispecialty hospital in North East India. It has served since 1987. AIIMS Guwahati at Changsari was inaugurated on 14 April 2023. IIT Guwahati was established in 1994.

FINER (the Federation of Industry and Commerce of North Eastern Region) calls itself the oldest apex business association in the North East. It was established in 1992. The Assam Chamber of Commerce calls itself a socio-economic organization, established on 29 May 2007.

Google says one Performance Max campaign can reach YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Gmail and Maps. Google AI chooses where to show your assets to meet your goal.
TechCrunch reported on 8 October 2025 that Google's AI Mode added seven Indian languages, including Bengali. Assamese was not on its list. So we would give these tools clean lead data first. A native reader would check every Assamese line.

Our view: more of the setting will be automatic. Your offer and your lead data will matter more. See how we use AI and automation.
Is your ad in a language and a paper your Assam buyer actually reads?
02A buyer who searches Google first cannot choose a business missing from it.
03Your website meets a Guwahati buyer before the phone does.
04A page with likes and no calls: is it working for your Guwahati shop?
We start with logic and your numbers, not with ideas we happen to like.
Three things set Guwahati apart from other cities we plan for.
1. A fast-growing state economy, built on tea, oil and new investment. PRS Legislative Research puts Assam's economy at ₹8,71,451 crore for 2026-27, 17% more than the year before. IBEF puts tea at 45.88% of the state's exports in FY26. Tea exporters, startups and contractors buy marketing differently, so the plan follows the buyer.
2. Four languages in one market. In Census 2011, 48.38% of Assam's people named Assamese as their mother tongue. About 28.9% named Bengali and 6.73% Hindi (as reported by Northeast Now). The Assam telecom circle had 24.05 million internet subscribers at the end of March 2026 (TRAI). That is about 65 for every 100 people. So a city campaign can lean on digital. The rest of Assam usually needs Assamese print, radio or TV news as well.
3. Bihu sets the calendar. Bohag Bihu, the spring festival, comes first. Kati Bihu and Durga Puja holidays fall on 18 to 21 October 2026, then Diwali. Magh Bihu in January closes the cycle. Retail, jewellery and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods: everyday packaged goods) brands plan their big bursts around these dates.

| What | In Guwahati | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Radio | Four private FM stations are on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting list (March 2026). Akashvani (the government's All India Radio) also has stations at Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Silchar and Tezpur. The government rate card is from June 2017. | Good for city reminders before Bihu and Puja sales. It also reaches towns and villages across Assam. |
| Ad rules for outdoor | The corporation has banned ads for tobacco, gutkha, pan masala and alcohol inside city limits since 1 December 2023. Every hoarding must show its permission number and the agency's name, via the state's online portal. Since July 2026, unauthorised posters on walls, poles and bridges draw a ₹5,000 fine. | Those categories can't use city outdoor. Check permission numbers before you pay for a site. |
| Hoarding rates (listed, not ours) | A media marketplace listed front-lit hoardings at Ganeshguri from about ₹1,333 a day. At Jalukbari Junction it listed ₹2,000-2,340 a day (October 2026). Printing and mounting cost extra. | A rough guide only; real rates depend on size, duration and the site owner. |
| Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Betkuchi | On NH-37 next to the ISBT. A venue listing shows PrintPack Northeast, Water Expo and Global Solar Expo there in 2026. | The city's main ground for trade shows where B2B (business-to-business) firms meet buyers. |
Sources as cited, checked 4 October 2026. Hoarding rates are a marketplace's listed prices, not PromotEdge prices or official rates. Holiday dates come from published 2026 holiday lists.
No price list. These things move the number.
We don't publish a price list. Each brief is quoted against a written list of what we will do. Media, printing, travel and event costs are billed at actuals. You see each before you approve.
Compare quotes like for like: languages, content volume, GST and whether media is included.
Our servicing team in Guwahati works with you in person. The wider PromotEdge team helps with planning. We can't do magic alone: the more involved you are, the faster you see results.
Planning and reviews. First calls happen on video. Our Guwahati team joins the planning meeting and any shoot or event that needs us. We review numbers with you every month and talk every day.
Online work. SEO (showing up on Google without paying per click), Google and Meta ads, websites and social media run from our team. The city you sit in does not matter. Accounts stay in your company's name.
Newspapers, radio and outdoor. We book Assamese and English papers, FM or Akashvani airtime, and hoardings with a valid permission number. You see every rate first.
Events, stalls and languages. Launches and stalls are delivered within the PromotEdge group. When a job needs it, we place our team at your venue. Our language partners create content in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, English and more. Our team plans, briefs and checks every piece. If your buyers read another language, tell us early and we confirm it before we quote.

We won't claim to be the best, and nobody can honestly say that. Ask every agency, including us, whether it has worked in your industry and who will run your account. Ask if it can show results with numbers and put the work in writing.
It can, but rarely with one message. Languages, media and buying habits change from state to state. We usually plan a Guwahati core with separate creative and media for the other states you sell in. We report enquiries by state, so you see what each one brings.
Yes. Our language partners write Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and English. Our team briefs and checks the work. Close to half of Assam named Assamese as its mother tongue in Census 2011. Over a quarter named Bengali. We pick the mix with you.
Two to three months ahead. Kati Bihu and Durga Puja holidays fall on 18 to 21 October 2026. For Bohag Bihu in mid-April, start planning in January, because good media fills early. Send us your dates and we will say what is still bookable.
No. Guwahati Municipal Corporation has banned ads for tobacco, gutkha, pan masala and alcohol inside city limits since December 2023. Every hoarding must also show its permission number, so we check both before booking a site. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Monthly, with enquiries, cost per lead (what you pay, on average, for one enquiry) and sales where you share them. We add what we would change next month. The numbers come from your own ad and analytics accounts. You can check each one yourself.
